Are you talking the code to unlock it so it can be used on another network, or the code to security unlock it?

There are several uses of the phrase "Unlock Code".

Do you mean the code used when the BB is locked as part of a security setting, and you want to unlock it?

Are you referring to a SIM card unlock (possible with a 9530 - there is no 9350) to use it on another carrier?

Or are you referring to a password set on the device?

Depends upon your definition of unlock. If you enter a password just to lock the phone then yes your answer is correct.

However, if you're talking about the carrier subsidy lock... 10 incorrect attempts to unlock will cause the device to be locked forever.

as said here, and in the other thread.
Once a blackberry has been attempted to be unlocked for use with another carrier 10 times; that blackberry is PERMANENTLY locked to the original carrier.
There is NO way around that.

it was the blackberry technical support. they told me to take it to verizon and they would "flash" it. he is also the person that told me that they might have a subsidary unlock. verizon said that they do not flash pda's. they told me to go to blackberry.com and see if i can do it myself. from what i have tried the phone has to be activated on a network to upload anything to it.

If you have entered the wrong unlock code 10 times, then the device is permanently locked. That's about it.

You can ask the question 10 different ways and you will get the same answer each time.

You can try to unlock it with 10 different codes and your end result will be the same. 10 incorrect attempts, pertinently locked device.
