Default "Network" setting recommendations?

Please Login to Remove!

Verizon Storm, 4.7.0.103 (updated last night) and having some battery issues... I live in the Midwest - Milwaukee/Wisconsin.

what should the Mobile Network Setting be set to?
Mine now:
Data Services = on (no brainer)
Network Selection mode = Auto (ok)
Network Tech = Global (should this be changed to GSM/UTMS or 1XEV?)
In Advanced Options:
Cell Broadcast Settings - What is this for anyway and should I configure this somehow???

I set my Network Tech to 1XEV because I never plan on being somewhere Verizon doesn't have servers and (I've heard) it reduces battery drain.

+1. It shuts off an unused radio.

I had the same batt problem with .103. Make sure you do a couple batt pulls and if you have any apps that use GPS, run them and make sure they get a first lock. After I did this my batt usage returned to normal.
