Default How to reload/resync contact list

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, I thought this was a simple task to do, but I'm having a hard time doing it.

I just switched companies, and they let me take my 8830. I have finally loaded my contact list onto my outlook at work (I am not on BES, or should I say, they have not removed me from the old company BES yet, but they soon will).

I noticed that I have lost a few contacts on my BB, so I am assuming that it has sync'd or something and that's why i lost the contacts that I did (because i know i did not erase them on the BB, but I did on my old computer at work).

I have loaded my contact list onto my outlook at work and have just installed desktop manager. But I am having troubles figuring out how to move my address book (contact list) that I recently downloaded back to my 8830.

Seems simple but I can't figure it out!

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Hook up the wire
Open the DM
Click Synchronize
configuration
Configuration synch
Click contacts
Choose import

When I try this, it gives me the error message

"Synchronization is currently unavailable for: Address Book
Because the application is configured for wireless synchronization. Desktop synchronization for the above applications will be disabled"

Anyone know how to fix this?

Is the BlackBerry connected to a BlackBerry Enterprise Server?

open your address book on the blackberry, click the menu key, go into options, and set wireless sync to no. save it and then try again.
