at least 30 minutes,

at 45 mins worry.

at one hour, relax, it might happen,

at 1:15, pull the USB and try again using How do I wipe the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder? - BlackBerryFAQ

lol, but honestly, I have seen/heard of it spinning over an hour. YMMV.

Upgraded my 8320 and the hourglass spun about 30 minutes...but it was worth it. I have been running .42 for about 24 hours now and no problems...

just upgraded mine about 45 mins ago.. It was sitting there spinning for about 30 minutes when I got scared and stumbled across this thread.. Luckily just as I went to post this the DM finally started the 'Restore Device Data' part of it..

Glad to know this is somewhat 'normal' hehe..
Hopefully just a few more minutes and Im up and running!!!
