4.5.0.37 (Platform 2.7.0.55) for 8700R was slow for about a day, now it runs a little faster than 4.2.1.114.. As well, my TomTom GO 920T now allows Data transfers with it so they fixed the port redirect problem with BT Data services and DUN. (Unless your provider gave ya a service book for this prob, unlike Rogers..)
As well, backups with 4.2 are 100% compatible from 4.2 -> 4.5.. Ringer volume is slightly higher than 4.2 so thats a bonus since it went down for me from 4.1 -> 4.2.. Media player looks sexy but pointless on this model, and we now have Voice Recorder option as well as "Documents to Go", a MS office viewer.. As well, as a nice little bonus, a Spell Check is now included.. So far, for a Beta, its pretty stable.. No Java errors or anything like that and I got all my service books and such perfectly fine.
Looking forward to the next 4.5 Beta release for the 8700.

Posted a few screenies taken from JL_Cmder which is also compatible.. :P As well, FaceBook, and DopeWars (Only 2 add-ons I added) are compatible with 4.5. :D
Only thing I noticed which is a little odd.. The Desktop Manager sees it fine, and will do a backup and such, but as soon as I try to sync certificates, it freezes the 8700..
