Default Blackberry users cannot send emails from devices

Please Login to Remove!

We have a BES server in toronto setup with BES 4.0,

This Company has 4 BES users in toronto which are working fine.
This company also has an office in india,
They had one users that had a blackberry that was working fine on the bes server.

They then decied to purchase 5 more devices. And the exising inida user also switch to the new device.

Before they acitvated the Bes server was upgraded to 4.0 SP 4 from 4.0 sp1

All the india devices have been acitvated, however they had a problem where they coudl not view any attachments, I applied hotfix 3 for sp4 and that seems to have resolved that issue. HOWEVER as of a few days ago, none of the users are able to SEND EMAIL from their blackberry devies, they are able to receive everything fine.

One of the users setup his device so that he can send from the devices's blackberry address. And this works fine, previously he was also able to open the attachemnts sent directly to the blackberry address.

I also looked at the BES logs and noticed this below

(AFFF4F29) -> {xxxx@xxxxxxx.com} MAPIMailbox::Send(ppMAPIMessage) - SubmitMessage (0x80070005) failed
[30000] (06/07 09:40:58):{0xF10} Alarm::ThreadProc: Received an alarm message
[30000] (06/07 09:41:06):{0xDA8} EventLog::ThreadProc: Received notification, processing...
[30000] (06/07 09:41:06):{0xDA8} Queuing alarm: BlackBerry Messaging Agent BLACKBERRY Agent 1 (Application Event Log on BLACKBERRY): 06/07/2006 09:40:58

I cant figure out why they cant send emails, I dont know if they toronto users are having the same problem none of them have gotten back to me.
As well I have tried to activate another device, and its failing to activate at this point .

im at a loss..

Very Strange I am getting the same thing, most of the users are fine 20% can send but can't receive. If anyone has an answer it would be very much appreciated.

We had sending issues, related to domain admins, see:

http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgec...66052&vernum=0

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/817433/

The fix on 912918, assigning Send As priv to OU helped with most stuff, but Domain Admins' priv was being overwritten.

Yes this was the cause of the problems, however it threw me off, because, the bes service pack was appllied 2 weeks before, the exchange server had windows updates and was rebooted, THEN, the issues started happening.

Also, I had a problem with one of the DLL files were wrong so it wasnt activating properly, I just backed up the database, and did a clean installe 4.0.4. with hf3 relinked the DB and it was all good.
