Btw, very nice post Angie T.
I love Alarms Pro but I am having trouble just setting the alarm for specific days. Will not let me access the part where you choose the days of the week. Any thoughts on how I can fix this? I have tried rebooting and even installing it a couple of different times. Thanks!

I have the same problem. I can only get it to work for M-F. I can't select S-S, in fact Saturday isn't even
visible.

I'm hoping the dev will release an update soon that will fix it.

what do you mean about "Texts from Last Night" - isn't it a website? is there a separate app?

My File Free is @ 121mb - Wow!
No lag issues, no muffled speaker/calling issues, tethered to my Dell Notebook 8 hours yesterday & 10 hours today (with Bluetooth and with the data cable connection; switching up just to make sure both worked.)

I ordered from Sprint Telesales on Sunday, 7/12 @ 9:30 a.m. and received it Wednesday, 7/15 @ 10 a.m. via UPS; I was advised the device was on back order and it would take 7 days, but... Go Sprint!

Lastly, I knew that I was ineligible for the yearly upgrade as a Premier customer, (would be eligible in Nov), but I still called and asked them for the discount pricing. Without fuss, hassle or haggling, the rep ordered the device and I have the same pricing as a new customer/new line. I already have 6 lines on my account and I've been with them 10+ years, so I guess this wasn't a hard decision for them to make.

Overall, I'm ecstatic! Great device, great service, great carrier, great pricing...
I called to upgrade two phones, have 5 lines. They gave me the two Tour's at the new customer price, gave me an instant rebate credit and allowed me to apply for the MIR. Overall I am extremely happy. Been with Sprint for 8yrs. I feel they went overboard to take care of me. Overall I am extemely happy with Sprint!

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

I felt that by dumping the games that came with the device, my device seemed to function better with other apps

i had soft reset, should i switch to quick pull?

does soft reset even work on the Tour? i get to the 'reboot now' option and the program isn't recognizing my trackball and letting me scroll up to choose that option.

edit 2: somehow i got it to work. i think i moved the trackball left then i was able to move it to 'reboot now'

Adorno Multi Alarms Pro? it's works great on my phone.
You need to have frequency set to weekly to set specific days.

Also, add the "fwd, reply, and edit" app to the wooks great apps
and add BEYOND160

I downloaded almost all my apps. Bolt works except everything is really tiny.
My games work except they have small screen area instead of full screen.
Themes are a no go.
Capture it works.
Memory UP Pro OK.
Empower SmS viewers work.
Empower email viewer is fine.
I have an Accuweather for 8330 that I am trying and it all seems to function except the radar screen is the size of a large postage stamp and it has a flash effect when it's browser goes from page to page.
Aerize card loader seems to work, although with all the memory, I doubt I'll really need it.
Oh, and I use Free Range and it's working beautifully, thank goodness and PODTRAPPER works like a charm. Can't be without that!

Although Empower Email Viewer works, I find the text in the body of my emails is waay too small and makes me strain slightly to read...and I have good vision. Even adjusting the font size to 11 (the largest) in Empower Options doesn't enlarge either the header or the body of the email enough to look like a reasonable font size for the Tour's screen.

Please, anyone share your opinion on this? I've included a screenshot of a sample email at largest font, size 11.

Okay, I have viewed my post...when you view my screenshot, you don't get the right perspective as actually looking at the BB Tour screen. My bad.

In the Empower Email Viewer, the font size can go up to 14. I have mine using 'Casual' size 13 and it looks large enough. Also set it to Bold. I thought I would email him on it anyway and see if he can fix this. My Empower Email is worse yet.

I emailed the developers on the Pro Alarm. The expect to have a fix for us in the next couple of weeks, via their website.

New version of Olive Tree BibleReader 4.10.150 the one for the memory card Blackberry works. They just posted it on Aug the 10th. Also the BBfilescout v1.1.2 for 4.7.1.40 works like a champ.

Is there an unzip..berryzip (like winzip) program?

Yeah, and by the time the kinks get worked out, there will be a new model out and we'll repeat the process over and over and over again.

RIM seems to have gotten ahead of themselves in the last few years. Rushing to release the latest and greatest without having the kinks worked out. People(like myself) forking out way too much money for a product, then saying "other than the the 6 annoying issues....it's a great phone", lol.

It's sucks that I find myself spending this much coin on products that have kinks. This shouldn't happen. The Tour hasn't even been out long, but people are already talking about the next BB. The Storm and Tour are the 2 latest BB's offered by Verizon. They've both had way too many issues for my taste. I'm just glad that I've held on to my prehistoric 8830.

Default BB Alerts

BB Alerts worked flawlessly on my Pearl. On the Tour, it wouldn't maintain an alert for a new phone call. Email, SMS were fine. BerryBuzz requires the version prior to OS 4.7, but doesn't say so on the site and you learn it afterwards! However it seems to be working fine for LED alerts anyway. I am a bit afraid to uninstall/reinstall when I saw posts on their site about incomplete uninstalls happening.
