hi everyone, im thinking to buy a blackberry but i have a question about the BB pin....
lets say i have a friend in france with BBpin such n such ok... then i have a BBpin too... can we contact each other even thought my friend is in a different country ??

Yes, you can contact each other with PIN messages or BlackBerry Messenger, a built-in instant messanger app for BlackBerrys only.

Just make sure that each person has a BlackBerry data plan or I don't believe the PIN messaging will work.

That's correct. A BIS plan is required in order to use BB messenger. A regular data plan won't work.
