Default "Configuring" TalkLock

Please Login to Remove!

According to the CellAvant website, "As soon as TalkLock is installed, it will start running, and you will be prompted to allow the application to access your phone. You must agree, or TalkLock cannot operate."

However, after installation, I am not prompted at all, and cannot find any ways to configure this app, as there is no icon, and there are no configuration options for it in the Applications menu. I've deleted and reinstalled, but again, I was not prompted for permissions.

Any suggestions?

Press and hold your BB/Menu button. In the list of icons that come up you should see one that looks like a wire frame of an application window. If you hover over it it should say TalkLock. If you see this then it is running and after 3 seconds when making or receiving a call the screen should lock. There are no additional options to the program.

I do see the icon there. I'll further observe the behavior over the next couple calls. Thanks!

Actually, it shortcutted my voicemail password prompt when I went to unlock it while calling voicemail, which was nice since it only took slifing my finger across the screen to access voicemail instead of typing in the password.

Hit the green phone call button and it will turn talklock off. I do this to check voicemail, so I can access the number pad to delete messages etc.... no sliding needed. I also use this during calls and when I want it to turn back on, I hit the BB key and choose to lock screen during call. Talklock does have options. ENJOY!

Does anyone know how to keep the screen off while TalkLock is engaged?

I'm using Screenlock, as opposed to Talklock, and it turns the screen off.

If I need to access the screen, I hit the back button once to light the screen, and again to disengage Screenlock.
