Yes, I do it everyday.

You must be in day view, go to the appt, click track wheel and select open. Click track wheel again and select "Select". You can then use the track wheel to highlight the words you want to select. Push in track wheel select copy (or cut) and push in track wheel. you can now back out to day view and go to whatever day view date you want to paste the appt into. Do that by selecting your appt time, push in track wheel and select new. Push in track wheel and select paste then save. If you only did a copy you need to delete the old entry.

I do wish there was more flexibility with the recurring events to perform this function.

You can still copy and paste. You just need to scroll down before you save the move and reset the occurrence. Takes10 seconds at most. Or, redo on your desktop calendar and resync. Doing it on the handheld is not quite as fast as the blazing copy and paste feature for non-recurring items, but still quick.

You can do what you are suggesting from any view as long as you open the appt.
How to avoid putting times again if the appt do indeed occur at the same time. Recurring appts setup has limited options

akosnitzky,

That's true, I just use day view 99.9% of the time. But you can copy/paste from agenda, week views etc.

I still have no problem coping/pasting occurrences. Changing to the new date before saving is very quick for me.

Thanks akosnitzky,

I appreciate the positive reply from someone with over 7,000 posts.

Would be nice if it were quicker though.
