Default messages displayed on the 8310 include phone messages

I have the Blackberry Curve 8310 from AT&T. The Messages that are displayed are both SMS messages and phone calls. Is it possible to set options somehow so that the Messages dispaly only SMS messages and not phone messages? I used to have the 8320 from T-Mobile and it was done that way on the 8320. I would like to see the phone calls on the phone log and reserve Messages for text messages, as it is on the 8320.

Thanks

Wirelessly posted (8820)

Phone > menu > options > call logging > set it to none

Also you can setup a saved search to only show you emails.

Inside the messaging icon, hit the menu key, choose search create what you want to search for and then save it.

I assigned it Alt+e (for email)

So I can go into my messaging icon hit Alt+e and I can see all my email.. I find the saved very easy for viewing only SMS/Pin/Email/Sent messages.

If you don't need to see you are call logs then Aiharkness's recommendation is easier for you.

...plus with Aiharkness's recommendation should you need to view the phone logs in Messages you can hit Alt-P to view them even with Call Logging turned off.
