Default Unable to select Email Accounts in Setup (Torch)

Please Login to Remove!

Could someone help please??

Need to verify email after changing a password on my work email however when I go to Setup I am unable to select Email Accounts. Keep clicking on it to no avail...

As a results I am left without emails!

Is your work email on BES? If so, you should check with your BES Admin.

If you use BIS, go to the O2 BIS Site, log in, make the changes there, resend service books and do a battery pull.

i was having the same problem for a while until i got fed up and reinstalled the OS. do you have any idea why i kept telling me that i have to call my service provider? i did and fido said they have no idea, lol. Not good.

I had to go back to the ATT store to get this problem sorted out. When I took the phone home and went to my BIS account, it told me I'd been deactivated and would neither let me log in or set up a new account for thenew phone. The ATT guys took 15 minutes to figure out how to fix it.

For some reason the setup utility on the phone would only let me do an activation for BES. The people at the ATT store had to setup my BIS account from one of the PCs at the store.

Fortunately, I did not have to do an OS reinstall.

I had some issues getting email going again as well. When I tried to log on to the BIS site it said I was not activated. It turns out they "accidentally" dropped my data plan. I've heard they do this to get people off unlimited (although I am only on the 200MB plan). Once they enabled the data plan I was able to log in and get things going again. Check to see if you can open a web site in the browser. That's how I determined they dropped my data plan.

I ended up talking to BlackBerry tech support via my Bell Mobility tech support. In my case, I have a BlackBerry Curve 9300 with the latest OS... 2921 / 666. I was directed to use the BB browser and typed in the following URL

bell.blackberry.com/rest/EmailClient/

cap E and C
and downloaded the latest BIS setup app and that fixed it. It looks like something got corrupted with the BIS setup app.
