Hope I explain this correctly. I have a new replacement phone that should arrive Tuesday. I know how to transfer everything with Desktop Manager, but can't seem to quite get the hang of transferring only what I want. I would like to get all Saved Mail, Contacts (with Speed Dials), and a few other Apps, but reinstall most Apps, so that I can start with a clean slate. I will be going from the Tour 9630 to the new Bold 9650 (on VZW). Thanks, appreciate any assistance, which you may have to be specific.

Here is a suggestion; Just before you transfer your data from your tour (and after a backup) wipe all "User Installed Applications" from the tour in Options/Security Options/Security Wipe. This way you will not transfer any of those apps to your new Bold.

Actually, I believe when you restore, you will have the option to install only the data via DTM. No need to wipe your apps before the backup.

Thanks for all the help, I decided to just do a normal transfer. If there is any cleaning out to do, I'll just uninstall whatever I don't want or need anymore.
