If I change my hotmail, yahoo, gmail passwords from my pc, Do i have to change them on the BB as well and resend the service books.

I do not sync my bb to my pc at all so keep that in mind.

If you are using BIS you will need to login to the BIS account and update the passwords. Most likely when you login the accounts will have a red circle with a line through it next to them. Update them and resend service books. You should be good!

It's no big deal. And about the service books, I don't think you have to resend. As I recall, they will be sent when you save the changes.

As always you are correct. I was just doing the one stop shopping get it done at once. Just a click and an extra message.

Just trying to help reassure the OP---ditto the nothing to be afraid of, that is.

And FWIW, I've had BIS get some sort of error back from yahoo or my isp making BIS think my log in info is invalid. So, of course, I have to go in and reinter password. Has happened maybe twice.

So, Rolo, it really is a piece of cake. Bet you already have it done.

Thanks guys, You were all correct. It took less than a minute. I am OCD and worried I was going to "Brake" something.

Turns out, I logged on BlackBerry Internet Service was able to go find my email>edit>password>and change it manually from the site! Easier than I thought.
I did not have to resend the service books either so you guys were right on there too!

Thank you aiharkness, thatzmister2u, and sith you EXTRAORDINAIREs are awesome. And very quick to help I might add

Rolo, except for physical damage -- and maybe all will agree with me -- I think it's hard to mess something up so bad it can't fixed. I won't say it can't be done. But the blackberry is really amazing.

Did you figure it out? If not, it may be easier for you to log in to the BIS portal at your carrier's web site and edit your passwords there.

But on the blackberry, look for a 'set up internet email' icon. It may hidden, so if you don't see it, bring up menu and select show all. Click it and go from there. You should be able to edit your BIS emails.

Of course this all assumes you have a blackberry data plan.

Ickmiller it is "my cingular dot blackberry dot com" or BlackBerry Internet Service

I initially added emails when I purchased the BB but now that I have an cingular.blackberry.com acct. there is no need to use the device to add or delete the accts. it's all done via PC or in my case my mac.

Hope this helps,
Rolo
