Default Browser Missing...

Please Login to Remove!

So it seems that I've lost my Browser icon completely after double-checking in "Organize Applications" after doing the Rogers update on my T-Mobile. I might have messed it up myself by installing the update, then restoring... I'm guessing I tried restoring my phone the wrong way. Can anyone help me get back to normal?

Edit: I finally found my browser through Application Switcher, and when I try to load it up, it says:
Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries. Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your device.
(Uhhh....)

Try resending your service books or go into options/advanced options/host routing table then choose the highlighted network then register.

Lost my browser after upgrade OS to Rogers. This thread helped fix, but after I selected the highlighted network, I needed to click on the menu button, and send request message. After this, the Browser came back on the main menu. Thanks!

When I go to Host Routing Table, there are no entries in there so I can't highlight the network. I've downloaded the latest Verizon software as of today and still no default browser to be found. Can anyone help? I'm really trying to avoid calling Verizon. As nice as they are, I think I know more than they do about this blackberry. Finally, everything else is working fine, but no browser.

Thank you, Crazydude. I actually pulled up the menu in the host routing table and registered. I didn't realize that option to register was available. I did notice that somehow my radio was turned off, though when trying to register. So between your advice (yes I'm embarrased to not have noticed) and registering, I now have a web browser. Yay! No Verizon call necessary.

Thank you again for your help.

Nitty, this fixed my problem on the new Sprint Pearl 8130. I just got done migrating my data from my old 7130e onto my new Pearl with BB Desktop's migration tool and after that, I didn't have a browser icon any longer. Re-registering solved that problem. Thanks a bunch man.

Thanks Nitty! I just updated today after I got a text from VZW about it. When I completed the update and restore, my browser was gone! So thanks for the help!

I do have a question, why did I have to use the work around to get the browser back? Did I make a mistake during the upgrade or is this a known bug with the latest update?

I am having this problem right now. I tried everything suggested, but no success. After talking with someone at Sprint, I learned that I needed to go into Options-->Mobile Networking, click on the "menu" button and select "Start Provisioning". Then go to the host routing table and select "Register Now".

It hasn't worked for me yet, because Sprint screwed up my plan and I don't have data access yet, but it's something that might help others...
