Today, I got the latest and greatest Desktop Manager sw installed on my laptop, as well as the (2nd) latest and greatest sw on my Pearl, as well as unlocked the themes. Everything is working just right.

Props to all of you experts out there for making this easy for the rest of us.

Thanks!

Default 3rd party data apps hanging

I upgraded to 4.2.1.194 i.e. the Vodafone UK version of the latest OS. All appeared to restore fine but now some of my 3rd party data applications hang when they attempt to connect to the Internet - Opera and Google Maps seem to work ok, but any non-HTTP comms seems to hang the device - this was fine before.

Has anyone seen / fixed this problem? Any help much appreciated.

/u
