My alert doesn't stop when I click on the reply field, just keeps on going until it is finished.

Another odd behavior is if you set the "timer" on the clock it only goes once, it used to go a few times, now only once. I guess they have some bugs in their alerts....

Kind of annoying but I am not going back to 4.6.anything

I read in another forum that it is a component of Quick Launch. I don't have QL, and I don't have the reset app either. As for battery life...mine is much better in .411 than it was in .238. My major problem now is memory leaks and I attribute that to the new BBM .57.

Default OS Update

I installed last night after running on 5.0.0.314 for some time. My phone was making noises for unknown reasons. It would ping and I'd look at it, but no new messages, sms, bbms, etc. would be there. Also, it started rebooting more frequently including often when I plugged it into a charger in my bedroom. That could have been due to a weak radio signal there though. Also I noticed dramatically declining battery life.

So I upgraded yesterday and the phone seems to hold a charge better now.

I also noticed that the Activity Log for a contact in the address book now works where before, on .314 that did not work for me.

I had the browser issue when I upgraded and there was no vvm on the install. I grabbed the vvm files from the latest ATT 9700 5.0 build and they seem to be working fine.

I have Google maps, gmail, worldmate, telenav, google mobile, and minisafe all installed and apparently working fine.

I do have the same greyed out buttons on the camera application as others have noted.

For those interested, I did completely wipe the handheld with BSAK before loading the new OS, although I did not specifically format the memory at any time.

I have not had a reboot yet, but it has not yet been 24 hrs with the new OS.

Memory screenshot on my phone below.

Cheers

I had issues with WiFi in previous 5.0 leaks, I believe it was 5.0.0.2xx? It wouldn't connect to my home network for some odd reason even though all my information was correct.

What I ended up doing was wiped my BB, re-installed a fresh copy of 5.0, and re-configured my WiFi (Re-entering the login, pw, and all other setup requirements). It worked just fine after that.
