Default Screen Protectors

Please Login to Remove!

I am not sure why this topic : http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...rotectors.html was closed, but I just wanted to know if anyone had any problems with InvisibleShield product during installation on 8900. I see that there is a little gap between the screen and the buttons and I was afraid that solution could go in between there and damage the phone while squeegeeing. Has anyone installed these, or do you have any other recommendations?

Thanks.

Threads are closed after 180 days of inactivity (I believe). That would be why the thread linked above was closed. As for the screen protector for the 8900, I am not sure but I'm sure that others will respond with positive feedback.

I have always used a tissue along the edge you are speaking of to help soak up excess solution.

I have never had this problem, and I've put this stuff on 4-5 phones. You don't need that much water so a little getting into the cracks should be fine.

I had the Invisible Shield on my old Blackberry 8700G and also bought one for my 8900... No problems with using it on either phone.... Remember you're applying the solution to the plastic shield itself (spray from a distance so it's a fine mist) and not directly to the phone... Haven't had any problems with the solution leaking nito the phone....

I'm very fond of the Invisible Shield which now is sold through Zagg.com

No problem... Just be sure to be very precise applying the shield as it can be a bit tricky and it's cut to fit exactly over the area it's designed for.

If you misplace it the first try, peel it back up fast and try again.
