Default Outlook Calendar issues

Please Login to Remove!

I'm running BPS on a seperate server and Exchange 2003.

I've found that when a user creates a Calendar event in Outlook, it will show up on his BB. When he creates a calendar event on his BB, it doesn't sync to Outlook.

Contacts sync both ways, but not Calendar events.. help!

Start with this.

I found the issue.. I had the BB service account as a Domain Admin.

I found this in this thread: blackberryforums.com/general-blackberry-discussion/34073-outlook-calendar-not-syncing.html

If the BESAdmin is not part of any admin groups then check for the Send As permission in Exchange System Manager. Verify it is set at the server, mailbox store and public folder store levels.
Thanks.

Thanks.. I appreciate it.

Do you think this would be the issue with when I try a OTA activation on a new device and it not working?

Since removing the besadmin user from the Domain Administrators group, I'm getting the dreaded "Send As" problem. http : // na.blackberry.com/eng/support/software/sendas.jsp

I have the BesAdmin Send As ticked on the Exchange server (see attached image).

What am I missing?

P.S. These boards don't let you post links/images until you have 10 posts? ughh.

You need to grant the send as permission within ADUC on all BES user objects.

Welp, I've tried everything RIM has published and still have the same problem. When I add BESAdmin to domain admins, I can send from BB devices but calendars don't sync.

When I remove BESAdmin from Domain Admin calendars work but devices can't send email.

I even went through RIM's KB02276 step by step. I don't see any conflicts of BESAdmin being in any other group that deny sendas either.

Hdawg, I tried your suggestion too.

I'm pulling my hair out!!! :(

and you're sure you did Task #2 in that KB properly?

It might be a good idea to simply create a new BESAdmin account such as BBAdmin and start from scratch with all the changing / testing you've been doing. This way you'll get a fresh look.
