Os 4.3?
Please Login to Remove!
Is there an operating system 4.3 coming soon for the 8830? I know the 4.2 OS just was updated.

The 8310 would be the reason we would get it in my opinion.

i hope
it will be available on Sprint 8830, seeing as though we haven't gotten any OS upgrades yet.

8320 pre-release version from RIM (Europe/GSM version) , I was playing with today was 4.3 OS. didn't seem any massive differences apart from video recorder which looks cool but I haven't had time to test it yet..

Bertie, you sure you weren't talking about a) the 8120, or b) voice recorder? OS 4.3.1 does not enable video recording for the 8320.
As for OS 4.3.0, it will only be available on the 8120 and 8130. The entire 8000 series device line will receive upgrades to OS 4.3.1 early next year (atleast for the GSM-based devices). OS 4.3.1 has reached early beta (currently at 4.3.1.12, to my knowledge) for the 8100, 8300, and 8800 series devices. I would imagine that this will see the light of day on all of the GSM devices around the same general time frame. At the rate they're going, I would expect a Jan/Feb release date. If the delay of BES 4.1 SP5 to late February is any indicator, I would assume that Feb is the likely candidate (a lot of features found in BES 4.1 SP5, such as HTML emails, are dependent on OS 4.3.x).
