Maybe I'm looking at the wrong plastic holster but its the one sold in the verzion store directly beneath the 7130e.
IT definately has a magnet.... look closely you can see where the plastic was molded around it.

my 7100i sleeps just fine. better yet, get a small scre that is steel, and run it over the holder.. you will find the magnet.

I've had mine for a few days now and it works flawlessly !

Give it a shot, if not, Sprint/Nextel Retail Stores give you 30 days to return.

I am PISSED! I have the vzw 7130e and want a plastic holster. The one sedio makes I own and its just too big. Its bigger then ncessary. Vzw just released a plastic one and it is snug and low profile just like I want...BUT IT HAS NO SLEEPER MAGNET! WTF? Its the one that was mentioned above....any suggestions? I want that holster but it has no sleeper function! Grr..Why the hell would they not have a sleep function on a bb only holster? It makes no damn sense!

Wow! I haven't been in the forum in a while, and this was a great find! I'll hit some stores and get it for myself. Will post pics soon.

I just picked one up from Nextel which they had to get from the back, and I have to admit I have pro's and con's about the Nextel clip.

Pro's about the Nextel Clip:

Holds the phone very well and it feels more secure than the Seidio. It has a lower profile then the Seidio. The Seidio has 1 big clip the holds the phone in, and if you walk too close to a wall it will catch and open causing the phone to fall out.

Con's about the Nextel Clip:

A bit more difficult to catch and release than the Seidio. I like the thought of the Seidio clip having felt where the face of the phone rests. The Nextel clip lacks this feel, it doesnt hurt its form, fit or function, but it would have looked nice.

I have the holster from Seidio.com. Great quality w/ sleeper function and felt covers the inside to protect your screen. The warranty is great. I broke mine and I was able to send it back and they replaced it free of charge. They also offer a skin & holster combo for the 7100i.

Can the clip be taken off of the nextel case? I like the protection but usually keep my phone in my pocket.

Thanks

I have had no problems or complaints with the Sedio, and I love that I can put it in the holster both facing in and out and it works flawlessly.... I have never had any issues with it falling out or snagging the clip...

What do you think of this case? I was thinking of buying this one within the next week.

I myself perfer a full cover. I don't like sweating and getting the screen all dirty and what not.
