yep...it looks like apple's got a strangle-hold on this device. i have a feeling he might just drop working on the iphone (or drop it from the top of a 10 story building, whichever comes first), good encryption is pretty hard to crack these days.

but he might continue just for sh!ts & giggles or bragging rights. if the device were as large as a curve in footprint, it would have a seriously sinister display (hey RIM....r u listening ?)

btw, i decided to take the plunge and get a jawbone, as well as a 4GB Sandisk microSD card, should work as i just took the quantum leap to 4.2.1.164.

You haven't proven anything. Each article you link to doesn't come close to saying about the device what you are.

Look, we get it - you hate the iPhone. Good for you. Make sure you don't accidentally buy one anytime soon and I'm sure you'll be just fine.

And what is this supposed to mean? Virtually every company involved in retail has response sheets like this. Have you ever shopped for a car? Or more precisely, have you ever gone with your parents when they were shopping for one? This is (unfortunately) how adults try to get other adults to buy something. It's really not a big deal.

LMAO....@ these silly responses they read back to their customers....

@ least over @ Tmo you'll find folks that don't litterally put u on hold to find predetermined responses to what issues customers have...

i just did some casual skimming in the pages of this thread, u can tell the apple ppl have this demeanor. One of the reasons i threw my iMac out the window after a short 5 months of usage.

Sloth is one of the seven deadly sins. How hard is it to spell out the word "at" or "you"?

Sloth should also apply to those too lazy to use spell check or proofread their posts.

This is pretty much unreadable. Can you please edit this so that we can read it?

Galvatron, you have been asked politely to cooperate with the other users by not posting garbage. It was been asked many times. Your post just before these two was completely coherent.
