I use 9780 for almost two weeks now, previously owned 9700.

I am trying to upgrade my OS to the .359 but when I tried to install the OS in the laptop there was error message "Error 2909. Could not unregister component" follow by a serial number. So the installation process could not be completed.

Never had issue before when installing OS 5 for my 9700. Any one know what cause the error and how to resolve it?

Does your 9780 currently have os 6 running on it?

Reread his post...this has nothing to do with the BB.
@ the OP...uninstall all older versions of the OS before reinstalling .418. That should resolve your issue. Reboot the PC before you reinstall .418.
