Default Not getting any email!

Please Login to Remove!

Since yesterday I stopped getting email on my phone. I looked at the phone today and the wireless was turned off. I turned it back on and im still not getting anything from my gmail account, and my outlook account. Ive sent numerous test emails and nothing is working. Can you guys help me troubleshoot.

my account balance is $0.00 so i know they didnt shut it off.
Phone says edge with 3 bars.
wireless is now on.
logged on my t-mobile account and my outlook and blackberry email is showing up.
I have gmail forwarded to my blackberry address.

Im stumped. I really need the email working. This phone is on a data only plan so I only use it for email. I made a call from the pearl to my other phone and it went through just fine.

Does the phone say 'edge' or 'EDGE'. Also, why are you having your gmail forwarded to the blackberry address. You can set it up in BIS and it will PUSH email like the blackberry address. Maybe you should try that and see what happens.

it says EDGE in caps. My email has worked perfect for the last 2 weeks. when an email goes to gmail it goes to my phone before it goes to my computer (usually less than 10 seconds after I send it). I thought email forwarding to your bb address was push email? If you cant tell, this is my first bb so im still learning.

I would stop forwarding to the blackberry address, and then go into gmail and make sure you have POP enabled. Then go into your BIS page and set up the gmail account by itself and see what happens.

heres an update. I went to the store and sat on hold with a blackberry tech for an hour. He couldnt figure it out so he transferred me to rim. I sat on hold with them for an hour and still nothing. He said they are seeing the messages, but its not going to the phone. If its not fixed by tonight, im gonna cancel my service. I dont even care if they give me a new phone and a new number. I just want my email working.

Have you tried deleting your gmail account from your BB and readding it?

yep tried everything. I was on the phone with t-mobile for over an hour, and on the phone with rim for about an hour. None of my email will come in, its not just gmail.

Also why was this moved to rants and raves?
