Default BBTask Pro -- be careful of their site

Please Login to Remove!

Just an fyi... last night I was looking for info about the app and went to their website. bbproductivity.com The main page of the site was ok, but I clicked on the tab link to their forum and got a virus on my computer. The forum has been hacked with a malicious iframe link that runs browser exploits and downloads a virus.
A user on CrackBerry posted he had the same thing on Feb. 24, so no telling how long its been hacked. He said he tried to contact them with no response, and I've tried also, so far no response. I would advise anyone going to the site *do not* click on their forum.

Hats off & a big bow to you D!
Is it just me, or am I noticing an increase in "bad stuff" out here in the internet? It's getting so that I use my BB & my iPod Touch for a lot of internet activities now.

You are right, there is an increase in the bad stuff out there. I read last week antivirus companies are discovering upwards of 25,000 new pieces of malware/viruses every day. There was a dramatic increase from 2007 to 2008 and it's still increasing this year. I went to bbproductivity.com on my BlackBerry and clicked on the link for the forum. The first time it didn't load, now it loads, but no exploit on the BlackBerry of course. The forum is totally over run with spam, however, from enlargers, to all kinds of pills, p0rn, you name it. Totally disgusting they let the forum go like that.

The forum is still hacked with the malicious iframe link. I sent a notice to their hosting company, but no reply from them either.

The sad thing is for that company all together. I purchased task manager program over a year ago from them. They promised the world as far as updates go and no delivery. Oversold and under delivered. I am not surprised at all that the web site has been left for dead. Thats what most of did with their products. Thanks for the heads up though.

That's too bad. I went to the site thinking I'd try the app. I'd read some positive things about it. Just checked again and the forum link is returning a 404 error, page cannot be found.
