Default Optimum Wifi - Free New York Wifi - Question

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8320, on the T-Mobile network. I am an optimum online customer and have the user name and account they are asking for. Now I can connect to there Wifi to the point where the WIFI connects up but I cannot view web pages in WIFI BROWSER like they are asking.

Optimum

Can someone please help?

When I go to 'Browser Configuration' in the Browsers Options I get no such thing as 'Wifi Browser' to select in the Browser drop down. Can someone shine some light on this for me?

At some point "Wifi Browser" turned into "Hotspot Browser" in the selections. Internet browser seems to work in the places I have to login. Maybe check the emulation mode in options to see if that makes a difference. It might need to be in a different mode to work such as Blackberry to trigger the right things to happen.

Also try going to websites like gmail since that can sometimes get the login screen to come up.

I'm still having a problem with this feature. When I try to use it it is not kicking over to the login screen to log into the wifi feature for optimum.

Just a stab in the dark, you should have a bookmark in your browser called Wi-Fi Hotspot Login under Wi-Fi Services. Try that, sometimes I found that it has the magic touch. Sometimes not.
