Default 8300 on which provider?

Please Login to Remove!

Do the BB phones rotate as they come out to different providers? Who will get the 8300?

The phone hasn't even been announced yet so there's no way to know!

RIM is claiming to know nothing about any phone past the current 8800. They deny everything that their master tells them too. At least the RIM reps that I've talked to do.

Default not coming to rogers

Well one company we can rule out is Rogers. They have already stated that the 8800 and the oured 3G blackberry will the only devices to come out in 07.

Wirelessly posted (blackberry 8700c: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

I heard cingular is getting it, because I dropped my 8700 pretty hard. Since I'm not interested in the pearl, or the 8800 they are releasing it next week because I am in need of a new gadget. According to my sources.

That is some pull you have there with Cingular. Can you get them to drop the price on my plan to $20 a month with unlimited data and calls? I need a new plan because my current one just is not working for me anymore...

It better not be Cingular because chances are they will cripple the wifi.

Knowing Mike Lazaradis, he'll claim to know nothing about it, but still walk around with a bunch of these devices in a brief case, pulling the odd person to one side for a sneak peak of it.....that's what he did at CeBit the other year with the Pearl.

I can guarantee - 100% - that in the US, it will be carried by Cingular and/or T-Mobile. Take that to the bank.

And that is the ONLY thing anyone here knows...

WTF......I know loads of stuff........none of it's to do with BlackBerry though!!!!!

In the US I'm convinced you're right. In the UK I would expect to see Vodafone and O2 hot on this one. Orange will be their usual useless selves....I don't think they even know what BlackBerry is, and T-Mobile only really care about their US operation.

ezrunner, I see in your signature you regressed from an 8700 all the way back to the 7230? Ouch! Gotta be painful.
