Is useful contribution and a legitimate response every considered post-whoring?

I really want 4.0 so I'm eagerly active now and trying to contribute. Whether or not that exuberant contribution is viewed as post-whoring is beyond me

The disclaimer is there for legal purposes, and means nothing to the average user. I am implying that the average user should ignore it.
