Default Blackberry Bold and Bell Mobility (Canada)

Does anyone have any idea when Bell will start carrying the Blackberry Bold? I have an opportunity to upgrade my company phone - if I take advantage now, I will get a Curve...and I wondering, if I decline the upgrade, when the Bold would become an option...

Thanks,

Thanks,
Bell will sell the Storm tho while Rogers customers will have to wait a year.

I am not sure how the cell phone companies do it but it would seem the have a bidding war over exclusivity of carrying a new type of phone for a year before its made availale to the other cell networks.

Bell and Telus are both on the CDMA network so it would make sense if both networks got the Storm. Sooner or later Bell Mobility and Telus will become one... You didn't hear it from me tho!

Sorry to bump an old thread. Any truth to this still today that BELL will sell the Bold in mid 2009?

I doubt it. By the time their overlay of UMTS is complete, there will be a newer device. I imagine they will get the Niagara though.

Switch to Rogers as they have the largest network, which I can say they did a great job at going the route they did as their network works in more places in the world than Bell will ever.

There isn't any CDMA hot spots in Columbia, or most of Europe. Back in the 80's I use to have a friend who worked for Inco Limited and had a Rogers tri-mode phone which worked when he over seas, Bell couldn't even match that in the 80's... how sad!
