Default Exchange to BIS

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings,

My 7250 will arrive next week and I'm trying to figure out how to get my Exchange e-mail to my BB. Using a Redirector won't work since I use a laptop and I don't have a spare system to install the 1 user free BES server on. So is there a way I can have my Blackberry e-mail account get my exchange e-mail for me and push it down to my BB? I've never used the Blackberry e-mail before so that's going to be new to me. I've been a BES admin before at another company so I know that very well.

As a second resort, I'm going to try to find a old laptop or something at home this weekend that I can use as the BES server for my exchange e-mail but I still want to use the Blackberry e-mail and will just forward my personal e-mail over to it so I still have access to my personal e-mail. Is BES and the Blackberry e-mail ok with working together on the same device and will the e-mails go into the same messaging folder? I would like to seperate the 2 if at all possible.

I already downloaded the latest version of the VZW OS and Desktop manager that's available as of today and will be loading the new OS on the BB once it arrives if that helps.

Thanks

Yea I had thought about that but it won't work since my personal e-mail account will be forwarding to my BIS account and I can't have my replies showing my personal account when replying to work e-mail.

Seems to me using BIS is the best thing for you. Kind of like a POP3 but it pushes mail to the device.
