Default Chrysler UConnect & 7290

I have been unable to "Pair" my 7290 with the Chrysler UConnect in my jeep.

Had no problem pairing a Motorola V600 with the UConnect.

Have no problem pairing a Motorola Earpiece 810 to the 7290

Does nayone have any ideas.

What error do you get from the bluetooth if any? Does it just simply say "Unable to establish connection" or something else?

Error messages help usually in bluetooth pairing instances.

First thing I'd try with the information, I'd double check maybe the code entered? Double check the UConnect, I think it uses the handsfree profile, not 100% sure, make sure the 7290 can support it (which it should). A few things can take play, hard to say.

I use my UConnect system in my 300c and it works great with my 7520, should work for you as well...

I have noticed that the BT stack can get messed up on the blackberry... Only way I've found to fix it is to power the handheld off, take the battery out for 1 minute, put the battery back in and try again... Always works for me after that

When I "Pair" the UConnect to the Blackberry 7290, it shows that the pairing has completed.

When I try to use it I get the message on the 7290 "Connection to 7290 Lost".

Have called Customer Service at UConnect and they told me that there was a problem with Blackberry's being "dropped".

Have been unable to find a Customer Service # for Blackberry.

UConnect was installed by my Jeep Dealer, not factory installed, if that means anything.

Tried turning off the Blackberry and removing the battery for a few minutes. No change in results.

Any help will be appreciated.

Are you setting it as a "trusted" device in the properties on the blackberry?
