Today we have implemented and installed a new exchange 2007 server. For testing purposes we moves only 2 mailboxes, successfully, to the new 2007 exchange server, but now the users' BB's won't work or Re-Activate:

Here are the error we have gotten:

2 user(s) failed to initialize

{user} MAPIMailbox::~MAPIMailbox - DeleteAllDeviceSearches (0X00000000) Failed

{User} MAPIMailbox::GetSearchRootFolder - CreateFolder(1) (0x80070005) failed

These errors happened after we moved the two users to the new server.

UPDATE:

I moved one of the users back to the Old Exchange 2003 Database and was able to reactivate the user easily on the BES.... any idea where i can fix this issue, we have over 50 users on BES that need to be moved to the new server very soon.

I have deleted users and re added them as well as wiping their handhelds...

make sure that the BESAdmin account has access within the Exchange 2007 environment.

there is a sticky at the top of this forum that will give the command to set the permissions.

Apply permissions on the new Exchange server.

Run the handheldcleanup tool on the BES if it still doesn't work. But it's probably the permissions missing.
