How can I turn off the click sound when my 8100 takes pictures?

You can't. Sorry. There's a weird work-around involving calling your VM, but in terms of a normal setting, there isn't one.

There is another way....

1. Plug in the earpiece
2. Open media player and play something
3. Press pause.
4. Open the camera and shoot!

The camera sound is now played through the earpiece rather than the speaker.

i wish people would use punctuation when starting new topics. For example, if the title of this thread had been "How to turn off camera sound?" I wouldn't have read it because there's been 79 threads discussing that this can't be done.
