in the media tab of the desktop manager, theres 2 options: media manager and BB media sync. i dont even have the option to click the media manager. and when i click the media sync, it asks to download and install it. so i do, but once it is at the end of the download, it says desktop manager encountered an error then it closes itself...

What version of DM are you running?

Personally, I don't use Roxio Media Manager to transfer music/files to my device. I enable Mass Storage Mode and connect the device. It will then assign the device a new drive letter. F: for instance, then I just copy all the files I want onto the card.

it says v4.6 at the bottom. and yeah i usually just drag and drop with my micro SD card. i just wanted to see what these optios did. also was interested in loading itunes playlists
