This morning I pulled up the APP's in the desktop sync software and uninstalled all the extra language packs. After I hit apply it's as if it was installing an OS update and it rebooted.

My phone used to GSM up in the corner and now it appears to only be connecting to edge.

What the heck could have happened, the network are the same as before .....

Version showing at this point is 7.1 Bundle 2508

Your connection is better with EDGE vs GSM. The OS update must have corrected something that was either set wrong or corrupted.
