You could use alt/enter or somebody will probably sell you an app that will give you k back.

can we please not get carried away with the freaken lock/standby update on this thread. It was enough reading 30+ pages of lock this and that on the previous os .536 release... we know it's changed. Get over it please.
if you must, start a new thread for this purpose. Thanks for your consideration!

If you remove your password, reboot, and then re-enable it, your "K" key will work to password lock the device again. Just a quick note on that issue.

I also added the "K" key to my themes as a test and it seems I can get the lock back for no password as well if I link it to the password lock app. Just a note for theme developers here.

Otherwise so far so good, I am glad the lag I've had in Google maps (Even with 536) is finally gone. GPS locks seem to come to life quickly as well.

I tried and couldn't get it to work (i.e. Composer, Interactivity > Hotkey Actions > Lock) without a password being set (worked ok with a password).

Anyone else find that contacts' numbers show up when they call, but not their names. In the call log after the call is ended, or missed, it shows the contact name and number, though.
RIM seems to have pushed out a new version of AppWorld today, .33. I installed it and it seem to work fine .545.

Installed and downloaded Appworld last night which works just fine for me.

Has anybody had this issue:
When I'm listening to MP3's (on earphones in this case) and I get an audio alert (from sms, bbm or whatever), it usually just plays the alert in the earphone over the music. However, after I installed this OS, it totally cuts the MP3 off and plays the alert tone over the phone speaker. I gotta press the mute key everytime that happens to get the MP3 to play again. ARGH!

Doesn't for me - but the "A" key locks the device as it did before in previous releases...has the exact same function as the top left button. Why is the absence of the "K" lock function such a big deal?

Because it would automatically switch on the password lock. The a and top button only put the device in standby and not password locked. For a lot of people, it is a concern.

I just use alt-enter now.

Mine doesn't work, but if you set the timeout feature for a minute or something short, you don't have to do anything more.

Over the past few days my 9700 has rebooted itself after a phone call disconnects. Anybody else having this experience?

Other than this glitch I am very satisfied with this build. Best UMA experience ever! (EVER!!)

The numbers show up instead of the name if you have them entered with dashes or periods in the contacts. In order for the contacts name to appear, their mobile number must be entered with no dashes/spaces/periods.

Cora, if you have the OS .33 your profile here states you do, you should upgrade to the latest released OS.
