Default GTalk for BB Idle status?

Hey,

Do you guys know if GTalk for BB ever sets your status to idle? If so, do you know how long the timeout is? Also, what causes it to set your status back to Available? Taking the phone out of the holster, actually viewing a chat in the message list, opening the GTalk app again...? I'd love to be able to set my BB GTalk status to always idle.

I don't believe that Blackberry Google Talk sets the status to idle after a certain amount of time. I only use 2 Research In Motion chatting programs (excluding Blackberry Instant Messenger) and both of these chatting programs (Live Messenger & Google Talk) don't appear to change my status to "Idle" after a prolong period. I don't notice that my status changes when I monitor the Blackberry logged onto accounts with different accounts on my PC.

I believe this is true. The logic is your blackberry is always connected and most likely with you so no need to show an idle status like a desktop when being idle most likely means you're away from the screen.
