When I got my new Blackberry 9700 I got it set up for my personal stuff but then I tried to get my work email. I followed some procedure that apparently setup my phone as an enterprise profile? I think that is preventing me from syncing up my stuff on W7. How do I go back to just my personal setup? I've gone to the bb mgr and tried to update software but at some point it tells me I can't because it's the enterprise.

Are you on a BES? If not reinstall DM and select BIS not Enterprise.

Reinstall Desktop manager but do not select the enterprise setup unless you are connected to a corporate BES.

this is not the phone software.

What service do you have? Blackberry Enterprise Service ( BES ) or Blackberry Internet Service ( BIS )
