Question FaceBook app questions...

Please Login to Remove!

I'm noticing not all notifications show up on my BB - and I have both the notifications set up, and the "Connect your FB account with: Blackberry Message Application" checkbox checked...

Notification such as people "liking" a status or link I posted won't show up... But even some notifications about comments won't show...

And there's the other matter that the notification on the web side, don't get updated as read... So when I log in, I have a ton of notifications, despite having viewed them on my BB...

What does the "Leave email notification messages on mail server" exactly mean? I have it checked off, thinking it would remove the notifications on the web side if I viewed them on the BB... but that's not the case... What happens when it's checked on ?

Or is this just to do with the notifications pilling up in my email inbox (the one linked to facebook)... so if "on", I'd have a ton of "so and so just commented on such and such" in my actual email inbox (checked via web, not bb) ?

thnx

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

Some things it misses. And it doesn't show anything when people like posts

So no way around that then, other than checking via web on a computer??

yes, checking the "leave email notifications..." means it will leave a copy of the email notification on your email server.
So you would have to delete them all when you next looked at your email.

I had some issues with it, until I recently setup the same email account I have FB linked to on my BB, it seemed to alleviate the issues with missing comments or updates to my posts.

Hello
Does somebody knows why my BB won't let me upload photos or add new friends?
It says "Unable to contact server", but the internet connection works fine

Have you been on to the web version of Facebook, and had the new layout forced upon you? If yes then the new layout has killed the Blackberry app,the only work around is to open the mobile web version in the BB Browser.

Facebook on the Blackberry appears to be working this morning.
