Default Aplications in bold lettering

I have a blackberry 8310 (AT&T). In advanced options under applications some are in bold lettering. What does this mean?

On my Verizon Curve 8330, it looks like all the apps that use (or attempt to use) the internal GPS.

Pure guess on my part, but when I've seen this the apps seem to be blocked. By that I mean I had a few programs that after they install a popup comes up saying this app is trying to access... or something like that. So you hit "accept".

I had a few that would appear to install correctly, but the popup never came up. So although the permissions were all set to "Allow" they really weren't working.

This was because I had deleted some .cod files on the install so the bolding may represent something else. To me it seemed to say the apps were blocked, but it may just be something saying they weren't working right.

Definitely not GPS apps... as I have Pipes (game), youmail (voicemail) Mobile File Manager, JiveTalk, CaptureIt, BBWeather, BBWap, BBNews, BBForums and BBFAQ all in bold.

On mine it seems to be all the GPS apps:

BlackBerry Maps
Google Maps
Intelligolf
Roblock
Starry Night Online (Astronomy app, uses GPS to find location)
VZ Navigator

Monkeypaw might be on to something though. Most of those are the apps that said that this app was attempting to access something when I was installing it.

Yeah, I should clarify. The apps I had were in bold at one time, but I managed to get the popup to come up after I put one of those .cod files back on the phone. Seemingly because of that they are not bolded anymore.

The ones that had been bolded (for months in some cases) were:
Mobiletalk - from Packet8 VOIP
ITookThisOnMyPhone - picture uploading app
Robolock

One or two others that I can't remember.
