Bring it to your local police department and ask them what they think about your plan.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

No doubt at least make an honest attempt to get it back to its owner and then if no luck ask us

Because most people would have said i found a BB I tried to return it with no luck. Do you all think it would be immoral to try and use it.

I'd like to think we're all grownups here and we'd all do the right thing. This is a community of like-minded users, mostly professionals. Folks interested in doing things right, be it business or personal.

There's likely a "Home" or some kind of number in there you could call. Also, you could call the carrier that's on the phone. Lots of things you could do. Make an honest attempt to return it. Good luck!

Last week, I found a Palm treo on the side of the road. I spotted it while I was sitting in traffic. I simply called the last number that called the phone. A very grateful owner called me back. It was stolen along with his wallet. He was happy to know his other personal information was safe. He picked it up the next day.

Make the attempt to return it!

I know it's a little off topic but what a lot of people are doing now is putting in an ICE number into their phone "In Case of Emergency". which is usually a close friend or relative.

I love how he says y'all made him feel guilty. Could you also "make" him give me a million dollars?

idkmybffrose--that is YOUR conscience speaking to you--not guilt.

I just got my mom and my wife to put it on their phones, I think they are going to have phones with a preprogramed button for this.
