Yea, it's been hosed on my BlackBerry for a few days. I keep getting 'no stream posts available' or something like that. I just press Menu and go to the mobile site.

Yeah. Same here... The mobile site was giving me problems a few days ago too. Had to refresh pages a few times and stuff. Maybe there's a new app coming?

I'm guessing it's from the changes they made to the regular Facebook site. Something got mucked up along the way.

Hate the new site, too....but I guess I'll get used to it like I did the last time they changed it.

I agree with Joolie. The App doesn't work and I currently dislike the new facebook layout.

I'm having the same problem as well as many of my friends. We are on Alltel/Verizon. Is this a Facebook issue or a Blackberry or a carrier issue??

Its a FB issue.
They have changed the layout and therefore the feeds for news etc; so the app doesn't know where to look to find them.

Why does facebook have to continually change things, everything was fine with the old layout. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

This amazes me.
The app for Blackberry has been crappy anyway, and now they screw it up worse.

If everybody felt this way we'd still be using Lotus 1-2-3 and DOS. There could be any number of reasons why they felt the need to change the layout (yet again). It is, afterall, their site and it's not like you're paying to use it so they have the right to change it as they see fit and you are free to move over to Twitter or where ever else you'd like to go. And RIM not having an immediate replacement to support Facebook's new layout is not necessarily Facebook's fault.

I don't work for or endorse Facebook; I'm just another Facebook user and computer programmer who understands the need to update software periodically. Embrace change people, it's what's got us to this point. Knowing what computer hardware/software can do these days would you seriously want to be using the same stuff from 10 years ago today? That's a rhetorical question, I already know the answer.

Its not that we don't embrace change.
Change for the sake of change is not necessarily good.
Plus, when their own application doesn't work with their upgrade, it really shows how poorly it was planned.

Facebook on the Blackberry appears to be working this morning.
