Memory notwithstanding, the Tour is on VZW's newer Rev. A network, which is much faster. Only VZW's Storm & Tour are on Rev. A.

I've been on a NE2 since 9/2008. Waited for the Storm. Threw up (figuratively) when I touched it and been waiting for this. Almost considered (in a WEAK) moment to switch carriers and go with a Bold, but sanity prevailed.

VZW is the best network. Period.

I totally agree with you, Verizon's network does not have an equal .. Now I wish they would lead the industry in customer support and phone selection.

I think they are starting to correct their phone selection downfalls. As far as customer service, I've almost always had good experiences, so I can't comment on that.

I think Verizon is by far the best carrier in the USA, both in service and coverage. The problem is the dumb USA system, whereby the cell phone manufacturers get to pick and choose which phone they give to which provider, unlike in most of Europe where you can buy any phone and then pick your carrier. Can you imagine how many more i-Phones Apple could have sold if they had not got into bed solely with dreadful AT & T?

I'm considering giving up my Storm for the Tour. I grown tired of wiping the smudges off the screen (from typing) and miss the real feel of the curve keyboard. I wish it had wifi though :(

I'm hoping the RevA will be a noticeable difference, the Tour is suppose to have a full HTML browser, does anyone know if this is suppose to be a big improvement over the 4.5 browser?

Browser improvement would be nice.

If the browser looks/acts like the one on the Storm, it will be a big improvement. When I played around with some of the Storms people got in my place of employment, I liked how it looked but hated that darn touch screen.

I am also hoping the wait time between taking a pic and transforming it into the right size for MMS is quicker. It is a PAIN on my Curve.

As for carrier, I agree that around here and everywhere I have been, nothing compares to VZW for network. We used to be on a regional that AT&T gobbled up. They stunk and AT&T still does. (again, here).

The others aren't even a consideration. TMO and Sprint have terrible coverage in the sticks where I am. Can't even consider them no matter how good they could be.

As for customer service, I have always been very satisfied. Devices - same old complaint. Seem to always lag, but I am pretty certain that has a lot to do with how much testing VZW does before they release.

Opinions very!

I left VZW for Sprint. Why? For better coverage, service, and better devices to pick from. Also the Simply Everything Unlimited Plan gives it all to you for about $60 per month less than VZW. Plus VZW puts certain restrictions on some of their devices which sux.

You can NOT beat the data and internet speeds Sprint has over ALL carriers. Sprint has always been known for the fastest speeds.

I'm very glad I left VZW and have never been happier with any carrier (and I've been through them all here in the USA) than I am now with, and that be Sprint!

Edtited to add:
The BB Tour is my 2nd line but keeping my Curve 8330m as my main. The Tour is nice, but after comparing the two side by side in my hand (as I previously posted), the Curve still ranks as the better of the two devices.

Cheers!

And with Sprint, it looks like the rev.2 Tour will have WiFi. I dumped AT&T for Sprint and cut my monthly bill in half. Same or better coverage in my area too.
