Whereas grate in the context you typed obviously means great; now for know, in most of your sentences, doesn't make sense. If it was no instead of know, at least it would read correctly.

It's sad if you graduated at the top of your class seeing your replies. That doesn't say much about your classmates or your school. It's a scary thought to think there are people that graduated below you...

No, it's not a spelling contest. However, using correct spelling and maybe just a little punctuation makes it a lot easier to read and understand what you're attempting to say.
