Thank you for taking the trouble in replying to my thread. I've had BB's since 2002, but never really got into them until now. I got time now I'm semi-retired. I will aspire too be a Power user(did my first OS load today!).
Thanks again Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
Well I really intereted in BB's, we had loads at my Company. And nowdays I've started getting into them, when I read you guys posts I think "they know their stuff". Well I've downloaded a OS. Tweaked it using John Clarks advice. And my cousin James who is Canadian E mailed me calling me a "Power user in the making".
So I take my Hat off to those guys here! Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile

I hadn't thought about it, but my definition of a power user would be slightly different, and wouldn't so much describe the hobbiest or enthusiast who experiements and tweeks, but the person who uses the device a lot, and for a lot of purposes and tasks, sort of like what juwaack says, but more to describe the person who relies on the device for a lot of things and is more efficient, more productive, and more powerful because of it.
Well the BB is I always thought a Business tool. I still use mine for Emails/texts appointments/wake me up. And use it a lot allday mainly news, reading forums like this. When I was working fulltime I used them 24/7.
But just never knew how they worked, that's what I come on BBF for.

Well since I started this Thread, I've loaded OS betas and Hybrids etc. Took out cods, unlocked it. Changed themes. And as Alharkness advised backed up everyweek including third party apps! Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
