Default BerryWeather problem

Please Login to Remove!

I have BerryWeather but when i go to "show radar map" it says "no radar map available" and tells me to select a custom map. When i click this it asks me to input a radar image URL but no URL's i put in work. Any advice?

I have the same problem. Every now and again it will work. I was also wondering where you would find a url for this application.

A simple Google search turns up this link to the developer, and more specifically, URLs for custom RADAR maps:

www.bellshare.com • View topic - Customize Radar link

Just can't get them to work properly :( . Got the weather.com one to display a map but it had no weather on it!
Thoguht the latest version of BerryWeather had it's own radar anyway.

The reason the stock radar doesn't work for you Dazza is because your in the UK. The stock radar is for the US.

Go to the link ifonline posted and they have custom radar maps you can enter into Berryweather that will work for you. All you have to do is put in your lattitude and longitude and or use the customized GPS URL that updates with the GPS for your current location.

Hope this helps.

If you'll give me the city you live in I can make you a custom url.
Also, are you using the GPS for current location? If so I can give you a URL that will update based on your current location.

Put this URL in if you are using current location: http://radblast.wunderground.com/cgi...1&r=1244393282

You don't change the lat and long values as BerryWeather will push those to the URL in real time.

You change the lat and long in the custom radar unless using the custom radar for current location. Dazza being in the UK means he/she will have to use the custom radar because Berryweather doesn't have radar for the UK.

Afraid not. Says: Failed loading radar map. Check your Berry Weather transport settings and make sure any custom supplied radar map URL is correct. (BIS - null).

I used the code for the AccuWeather map from the bellshare site and I'm loving every minute of it. This is the weather app I've been waiting for and it was worth every penny!

No problem. This is a great app for weather on the BlackBerry. I like the design... seems like the developer(s) took some time in making a quality product. Now if I could just get other developers to do the same.
