Default Are they going to release an SIP client for bold 9700?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all. I wonder if there is or going to release a full working sip client for bold 9700? I find it shocking not to find a working one for bold yet !!

Could any one tell me what is the difficulty that they don't release one ? Does black berry bold 9700 have weak CPU that can't handle sip callings ? Or any other reason?

Even fring doesn't release a version for blackberry!! So should i just stop dreaming of an sip application for my new bold 9700 ? or i just should wait. Looking forward for some replies. Thanks

Moved to 9700 section.

Please update your profile to indicate the correct BB that you are using. The profile says 7100T, yet you are asking about the 9700. Is the 7100 what you are using today?

You can use the SEARCH feature to find the answer to your question. Search on "SIP Client" and see what you find.

I've tested a SIP program called "BlackVoib" on my Bold 9700.

http://www.blackberryforums.com/afte...-download.html

I don't find the results to be as good as what I'm getting with a SIP client on my iPhone 3GS. I'm not sure if it is due to any limitation on the Blackberry hardware.
