Question I need help!

Please Login to Remove!

So i just bought my BB pearl yesterday and have been trying to add music to it. I have a 512 MB sandisk for it. I have read all the other posts from other people but i still cant figure it out. When i plug the BB into the computer and open the media manager, the SD isnt recognized... Im lost.

please help.

ok when i turn it on it still doesnt recognize it though? thats why i wasnt sure.

You get the same error if it's on OR off??

either way [on and off] the only thing that shows up in the media manager is the device memory.

Have you made sure the card is inserted correctly?

If so, then try a format of it....

Don't bother with media manager. With mass storage mode on and the Pearl plugged in to the usb port, go to My Computer. You should now see Removable Disk as one of the icons. This is your Blackberry. Click on it and click on the Blackberry folder. The you should see a list of folders that say pictures, ringtones, music, etc. Drag your music into the music folder and eject the BB. Now you should be able to access your music from the media player.

We tried everything known to human via PM.... Must be a bad card because the BB is not recognizing it....
