Default Old Cingular email account will not remove from Device

Please Login to Remove!
my 8700c will not remove my old cingular email account(@mycingular.blackberry.net) from my device. since Cingular switch over to ATT I cannot remove the icon from my device. I was able to remove from the BB website but not my device, please advise?

Have you deleted the service books from your device, and resent them? To delete the service books go to Options > Advanced Options > Service Books. Press the trackwheel on each service book (except for Provisioning) and delete it.
