Well I finally got all set up with Rogers but something strange is happening when I send emails that I can't figure out.

Whenever I send an email from my BB to any address (and a few times when I hadn't), I get an email on my home email account that goes something like:

This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry Handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server.

So far I've recieved over 10 of these messages. The part I can't figure out is that I've put nothing in my BB email settings having anything to do with the account that these messages are coming in on. The only thing I can figure is that the desktop software is somehow doing it. I don't have the redirector running either.

Any thoughts on how this happens and what I can do to fix it?

UPDATE: I found my email address in the security settings on my BB. Presumably from the desktop software. I guess that explains the odd messages I'm getting. I still can't send email from my handheld however.

Yes, it is a common error you will get if the divice is not synched up properly. Just delete your device from the Redirector and re synch the device and it works fine. I had that issue a lot before I moved to th new WebClient based utility

I figured it out.

It was the redirector service which I thought was turned off.
